Lynn, Lead Teacher

Miss Lynn joined Crossroads in 2012. She came to us with 5 years of childcare experience. She has previously taught in all the child care age groups, although her specialty is working with the four year olds. Miss Lynn has great interpersonal skills with both children and adults! Miss Lynn earned her CDA (Child Development Associate Certificate) in 2018.

She is married and the mother of 3 grown daughters. One of her daughters, Miss Becca, has worked at Crossroads as a teacher’s aide. When her children were younger, she spent a lot of time volunteering and was actively involved in her children’s activities. For example, she was on the PTA Board, class mother, Girl Scout Leader, Sunday school teacher/Christmas pageant director, Pop Warner cheer coordinator, D.A.R.E. Drug and Alcohol Alliance, Drama costume designer and Project Graduation.

Miss Lynn is extremely creative and crafty. She loves to do all kinds of projects and cooking experiences with her class. She likes to display the students’ work on the walls of our center.

Miss Donna joined the Crossroads staff in 2019. Prior to joining us, she was very active in her children’s lives, being a Girl Scout leader; President of the Home School Association of St. Ambrose; the secretary at St. Cecelia’s and the librarian at Assumption Catholic. All of these made her uniquely qualified to jump into child care with love and enthusiasm!

One of the most parts of working with children is watching them gain independence. The smile on their faces the first time they make their cots or hang up their backpack puts a huge smile on Miss Donna’s face! She feels truly blessed to be a part of the tremendous growth from September to June.

Miss Donna has been married for 36 years and is a mom of 3 and nana of 2. Her favorite passions are cooking and jumping on a plane to Texas to see her children!
