Administrative and Other Staff

Crystal, Director:

Miss Crystal has been with Crossroads since 2006.  Prior to coming to Crossroads, Miss Crystal worked at Agapeland, a Christian child care center, as a teacher assistant and camp counselor for 6 years.  She also worked for the Goddard School for a year.  While here at Crossroads, she was the Lead Teacher for out Infants/Toddlers for over 13 years eventually moving up to Director.

Miss Crystal has her CDA as well as a Bachelors in Liberal Arts from Thomas Edison State University.

She has 2 children – Nathanael and Naomi.  Miss Crystal has also volunteered for the Children’s Ministry at Faith Fellowship Ministries for over 12 years and we are happy to have her commitment, dedication and ambition to help your children grow.  She loves interacting with “her” babies and observing their behaviors/development. Her energy level is like no other!  When you want something accomplished, ask Miss Crystal.

Miss Crystal is dedicated to continuing Crossroads’ long tradition of excellence in early childhood education.  As Director, Miss Crystal is CPR/First Aid certified.   Additionally, each year she earns 20 hours of Professional Development credentials as mandated by the State, and attends various Director forums.

In her spare time, Miss Crystal loves to shop and spend time with her children doing various fun activities.

Melina, Center Administrator:

Miss Melina has been at Crossroads since 2000. She attended the Woods Secretarial School prior to relocating to New Jersey from New York and worked as an administrative assistant for a New York firm for 9 years.

She has two grown daughters, who worked at Crossroads as Teacher Aides, and now are certified teachers in the public school system.  She also has 2 grandbabies who attend Crossroads named Austin & Chase.  As her children were growing up, Miss Melina was a Girl Scout Leader for six years, organizing projects, crafts, fundraisers, special events and field trips. She was also a class mother for many years. Her organizational and managerial skills from all of these experiences have come in very handy in juggling the many aspects of her job!

Scott, Chef:

Mr. Scott came to us in 2016 with over 20 years’ experience as a corporate chef. Our children are fortunate to have his culinary expertise! He is married with 2 boys and often practices recipes on his family. He is a very active dad and participates in many of his son’s activities.

His food is delicious and most of the time he cooks from scratch. The children love his special chef days where they learn how to make their own healthy meals. We are blessed to have his talent and enthusiasm in our kitchen!
